A Photo trip
I am really enjoying this blog, and the extra pages I can add onto it!
One of the marketing staff from my publisher (Sunpenny) has asked me to send her photos of the places in my book, so that she can put then on their Pinterest account.
While I was experimenting with my home page on this blog, I realised that I can do the same thing here. So these school holidays, I plan to take a photo trip to all the locations in my novel and take photos of them.
This trip will involve going a little way up the North Coast of KZN, and then all the way in the other direction up the hill to Kloof and Hillcrest. And I’m going to have so much fun putting it all together so that you can see the places where my novel was set. And you can get to know my little corner of South Africa.
Don’t forget to take a note with you, you’ll never know what ideas may pop up once you revisit your imagination in real life.

Yep, my faithful notebook is in attendance.
But I can’t put anymore details into my almost published book, because it is very long, and I spent a large amount of time cutting out details to make it
30 000 words shorter!
But I can always collect information for one of my other books, so nothing is wasted.
That’s the cool thing about being a writer.
We can even use the awful stuff, and make it count for something.
